Moses Barron, M.D. (1911) University of Minnesota. Clinical professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota; published landmark articles that lead to the isolation of insulin. Moses Barron was born in 1884 in Russia and emigrated to Minnesota in 1889. He attended the University of Minnesota, receiving his medical degree in 1911.
